Hiring process

How we hire, and what we look for at every stage.

We know hiring can feel like a black box. We've tried to make ours as transparent as possible, so you know what to expect, how to prepare, and what good looks like at each step.
Hiring-team

How we think about hiring

We hire for how people think, not just what they know. We look for intellectual curiosity, structured reasoning, problem-solving ability, learning agility, and the ability to navigate complexity without losing clarity.

For early-career roles, life sciences domain knowledge isn't required. We believe it can be taught; the way someone thinks cannot.

For experienced hires, we look for deep domain expertise, the ability to lead through ambiguity, influence stakeholders, and drive meaningful business impact. For senior consulting and product leadership roles, experience building client relationships and contributing to business development is also highly valued.

Unlike larger firms where people spend years in narrow functions, ZoomRx gives individuals real ownership early — and we hire accordingly.

The ZoomRx Hiring Process

Hiring step 1
01  Tailor your application

Highlight analytical achievements, ownership examples, moments of navigating ambiguity. Quantify outcomes.

Hiring step 2
02  Pre-screen

A conversation with our Talent Acquisition team to understand your background, motivations, and fit. In the US, this may be 30 minutes or longer.

Hiring step 3
03  Online Assessment

The Talview Assessment (India only) helps us evaluate how candidates think, solve problems, and communicate their ideas. Rather than testing specific life sciences knowledge, it focuses on analytical reasoning, structured thinking, and the ability to approach unfamiliar challenges with clarity and sound judgment.

Hiring step 4
04  Take-home Assessment

A scenario-based assessment to demonstrate your analytical and strategic thinking. Given 2–3 days to complete across the board. Required for Senior Consultant and Engagement Manager roles in consulting; most roles will have some form of take-home assessment.

Hiring step 5
05  Evaluation Interviews

2–3 rounds with team members and leadership. We assess skill, communication, and how you think and you interview us too.

Hiring step 2
06  Decision & Offer

Within 48–72 hours from process completion, you'll have a decision and offer to follow.

Hiring step 7
07  Joining ZoomRx

TA team guides you through all pre-joining documentation, equipment, and system access before day one.
